Holland Park’s splash pad turns local habitats into a play space
Coast and swamp themes shape the water-play area, but checking maintenance hours is part of a successful visit.

The splash pad at James F. Holland Memorial Park is designed around landscapes familiar to Palm Coast residents. The city describes a shore-themed zone with marine-animal spray features and a swamp-themed area inspired by Graham Swamp.
The water-play area is part of a 26-acre park that also includes a playground, walking trail, sports courts, picnic pavilions and dog-park space. For families, the variety offers alternatives if one activity turns out to be enough for the day.

Check the park’s current status page before travelling. The city lists regular maintenance closures for the playground and splash pad on Tuesdays until noon, and it notes that repairs can bring additional interruptions.
A useful first-visit plan is to identify one dry activity as well as the splash pad, then check the map and facilities that matter to your group. Bring what you need for the change between water play and the rest of the park.
The habitat theme gives adults and children something to notice together: which features represent the coast, which suggest a swamp, and how those environments differ from each other.
